Welcome to my portfolio. This portfolio is aimed at giving future employers and colleagues a better sense of who I am as a person and a teacher.

Please understand this portfolio is under constant revision.

My Educational Philosophy

1. Passion and safe classroom environment are important keys to good teaching. Passion makes teachers want to improve their ways of teaching and shaping lives of students while good rapport enriches their learning.
2. I believe in giving enough opportunities for students to respond. There are multiple ways that students can respond to questions.
For example, partner sharing, thumbs up and down, and using Kahoot software etc. Giving them enough opportunities to respond means more opportunities for me to find out what they know and how I should reteach them.
3. Children's motivation leads them to success. Therefore, I consistently try to come up with different activities to motivate students to want to learn. This also helps them see that what I am teaching is meaningful and relevant in their daily lives.

Students worked with their partners. They taught the concept and challenged each other. I assessed them as I circulated around the classroom.
